Statistics

Statistics shows how the work hours of the selected period are divided. For example, you can look at each worker’s hours by work name, or each machine’s hours by worker. The page is based on the same data as the reports: only approved works are counted and pauses are deducted from the work time.

Page layout

  • The top buttons set what the cards are made for: “Workers”, “Worktypes”, “Main facilities”, “Implements”, “Customers”, “Projects”, “Workobjects” or “Cost centers”. The choice is also shown in the page heading, for example “Statistics: Workers”.
  • Period – the period buttons (“Previous month”, “Current month” and others) or dates. The data of a new period is shown after you press “Show”.
  • “Dimensions” – a drop-down that sets how each card’s hours are divided. You can choose the same values as the top buttons, except the button currently selected.
  • The search field filters the cards by name. The Excel icon downloads the data as an Excel file, with the external IDs and the number of works.

There is a separate card for each worker, machine, project and so on. On the left of the card is the “Workhours” table with the hours by dimension value and a “Total” row. On the right is a pie chart showing the share of each value. Hours without a dimension value (for example work without a project) are marked “(Undefined)”.

How to view the statistics

  1. Select with the top buttons what you want to see the hours by, for example “Main facilities”.
  2. Select the “Dimensions”, for example “Workers”, to see who worked with the machine.
  3. Select the period and press “Show”.
  4. If you are looking for a particular worker, machine or other item, type the name in the search field.
  5. To process the data further, press the Excel icon.

Who can see it

The menu item is visible to the roles “Administrator”, “Approver” and “Observer”. These roles see the hours of all workers. “Approver” does not see data older than the first day of the month that started three months ago.

Tips

  • If a worker’s hours are missing or lower than you expected, check on the Approval page whether their works have been approved.
  • Hours are shown with one decimal place.
  • Work hours by day and by type of hours are on the Worktime table page.
